Information about using Vinlooker accounts, plans and vehicle reports.
Using Vinlooker
Enter a 17-character VIN to request the vehicle information available to your plan. Checking your own vehicle requires an account and an active plan. The limited live demo applies only to its designated vehicle.
Plans and checkout
The plans page shows the report allowance and included capabilities. Review the price, payment and purchase terms shown at checkout before paying. Your account displays your current plan and remaining allowance.
Reading a report
Records depend on the vehicle, country, selected plan and data source. Missing records and a false stolen flag do not prove that a vehicle has no problems. Use a report alongside the vehicle documents, the seller’s explanation and an independent physical inspection.
Keeping your account secure
Register with an email address you can access and keep your password private. Never send your password or payment card information in a support request.
Questions about a purchase
Contact support before purchasing if you need clarification about a plan or its purchase terms. For an existing purchase, include your order reference and describe the issue.
